Rogar was founded Abilene, Texas in 1975. The goal then, as now, was to design, manufacturer and market top quality products. By focusing on fine craftsmanship, unique products and innovative packaging, Rogar has become a leader in the sales of antique-style wine openers, hanging and wall-mounted pot racks and wine rack.

Rogar's products have been manufactured in Midlothian– a suburb of Richmond, Virginia, USA since 1989.

Wine Openers

Rogar International Corporation has been the premier name in speed wine openers since its introduction of the solid brass Vintner in 1975. Like Rogar’s current Champion and Estate wine openers, the Vintner was based on the “Champion Cork Removal System” made by the Arcade Manufacturing Company using Michael Redlinger’s American patent of 1897. Even then, the Champion had the unique ability to uncork and recork. Rogar took the original’s mechanical concept and has continued to enhance it with modern materials. The Vintner is no longer in production and has become a collector’s item. Rogar’s Estate and Champion models are now the easiest way to open a wine bottle. They are fast, simple and foolproof.

As they enter a new millennium, Rogar has kept pace with the times. Although the inspiration for their wine openers comes from the past, the technology is 21st century. All Estate and Champion openers have been designed to work on the newest flange top wine bottles as well as standard wine bottles. They even can be used to open corked olive oil bottles.

Pot Racks

Rogar’s Gourmet Pot Racks and Wine Racks include both hanging and wall mounted racks in a variety of shapes and colors that work in any kitchen. These racks are manufactured in the USA using steel that is either powder coated in fashionable, durable colors or is available in 18/10 stainless steel or bright chrome plated steel.

Racks come complete with accessories as appropriate – grids, chain, hooks, etc. Hanging racks (rectangles, rounds and ovals) include 2-4 pieces of 17" chain. Complete hanging instructions are included. Additional hooks and extra chain can be purchased separately.
